This is beautiful oil on board by important French well listed artist Albert Joseph Penot. The painting depicts a Satyr sitting on a the edge of a bed playing the flute. Beneath the satyr is a woman laying on a bed with white pillows. The painting has nice pastel colors with French furniture, vase with flowers and a lamp. The painting measures frame size 25 by 26 inches image size 21 by 21 inches. Great condition framed under museum glass. The artist has great auction records his highest price record is $193,362 at Sotheby's London Feb 15th, 2018. Artist signed lower left.
