Beautiful antique hand painted porcelain plaque inset on a gilt metal fabric lined jewelry box. The woman's portrait is very well painted depicting a beautiful lady with a plumed hat and long flowing hair with a rose at her bust. The diameter is 4 inches, height 2-3/8 inches. The box has its original fabric lining. The metal work is a basket weave style pattern with a foliate border at the top and bottom. The bottom of the is leather lined on the outside.
